Frank Sui, author of the recent book “You Have Two Options: Life’s Options for Modern Life.”

“We are now living in such a climate where there are so many options that are available and we have to weigh up and choose.”

Sui thinks there’s a good chance many Americans will choose more affordable housing options than for most of us.

“The new housing is affordable, but it’s going to cost a small fraction of what you’re paying now in our mortgage, so it’s going to be cheaper.”

And he warns that Americans could use the money to buy back into the system through home ownership and renting.

But there are still a significant number of buyers out there who are still under the radar.

“I think because of where you live, I think that you’re more likely to get into it.” He says that the average sale price for new homes is $225,000, but a lot of those who are buying have to sell immediately, because they’re going into a situation where they need to pay off their mortgage quickly.

“That means they are not going to save the money to upgrade to a bigger home, so it’s going to be much harder for them to find homes that they could afford.”
